FHT Accredited Scheme

Are you a member looking for a therapy qualification or CPD course that meets the exacting requirements of the FHT?

Or perhaps you are an education provider and would like to have your qualifications or CPD courses approved by the FHT?

The aim of the Accreditation Scheme is to approve qualifications offered primarily by colleges and centres that are not validated by an external awarding body regulated by QCA, such as VTCT, City and Guilds, ITEC, and so on.

By offering an accreditation Scheme, the FHT aims to improve and maintain the highest standards as a professional association and rationalise the current system of course approval.

Since the Scheme was launched, over 100 qualification and CPD courses have been accredited by FHT (please click on the relevant links opposite to view full details). The colleges and centres that offer these courses have enjoyed:

  • a listing in every issue of International Therapist, received by over 20,000 FHT members, six times a   year.
  • a listing in the FHT Education Programme, received by over 20,000 FHT members;
  • a full listing on the Education and Events section of the FHT website;
  • use of the FHT accreditation logo on adverts and literature.

All FHT Members who complete an FHT accredited qualification or CPD course can use this towards their annual quota of CPD points.
