Hours of work: Zero Hour Contract
Salary: 50% commission on all bookings
Qualifications required: Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy
Duties:
- Perform professional sports massage therapy sessions for clients
- Assess clients' needs and create customised treatment plans
- Provide a variety of massage techniques including effleurage, petrissage, and cupping and hacking massage
- Maintain client records and document treatment progress
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in various massage techniques and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and customise treatments based on client needs
- Strong time management and organisational skills
As a Sports Massage Therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide sports massages to clients, assisting in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that have been caused by repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma.
Your knowledge of human anatomy and proficiency in various massage techniques will allow you to assess clients' needs and create personalised treatment plans. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with clients to understand their concerns and provide appropriate recommendations. Additionally, your ability to manage your time effectively will ensure that you can accommodate scheduled appointments and maintain accurate client records.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience working as a Sports Massage Therapist
- Be fully insured
