The Waterlooville local group is for practitioners, students or people who just have an interest in complementary health, fitness or beauty. We aim to make every meeting both enjoyable and informative with time for everyone to meet. You do not have to be a member of the FHT to attend - if you have friends who might be interested, do bring them along.

We have the lovely Julie coming in to talk to us about the Macmillan centre at QA. This wonderful facility is run by volunteers and is there for the support of cancer patients and their families at what can be a very difficult time.
The Macmillan centre at QA has recently been refurbished, care of a wonderful benefactor plus hours of work from the staff and it looks amazing. A welcoming place to go to. The staff are friendly, discreet and they cater for you and all your families needs, whether you fancy a cuppa and a chat, a complimentary treatment or more guidance from their extensive free literature.
If you have ever wanted to contribute to this worthy cause, thought to volunteer or want to know what they do to support your own or a family members cancer journey then this is the talk for you.
Julie will explain how they support the journey of everyone who comes through the door. What you need to do to be able to receive treatments, what treatments are available and how you can be trained so you know how to deal with people who are going through this.
It proves to be a very informative talk that will enlighten us and help us to understand the workings and how we can help promote this much needed service.

The full cost is £50 PP and is at Paulsgrove community centre, 9am-5pm approximately

The room is in the first building on the left as you arrive on-site via Catherington Lane entrance.
There is additional parking behind the Barton Hall. Look for the FHT signs.
Cost:
You can pay cash on the night, or you can pay by bank transfer, details at bottom of email.
We will be offering a pre-payment for year in line with your membership status.
You pay for 5 meetings and get the 6th free and if you can't make it, we will send you a recording of the talk.

EVERYONE ELSE £8 (£40 for year)
