Glo is a wellbeing and beauty agency working with around 700 freelance therapists, many of who are registered and insured with the FHT. They are currently looking for an admin person to cover maternity leave and would love this person to have a Holistic background as well as office / admin skills.
Glo is a UK wide company operating for 18 years with a database of over 700 Freelance and professional mobile beauty and health therapists to provide mobile health and beauty experiences for Hen pamper parties, mobile spa’s for family holidays in rented accommodation, corporate events, and wellbeing in the workplace. Glo is looking for a highly efficient, warm and friendly person who is based in the UK, able to show knowledge and expertise within the wellness initiative, is hard working, likes to juggle tasks, and who enjoys working on their own or with a small team, from their own home. The Role: To be responsible for managing corporate and event bookings.
- Respond to corporate wellbeing enquiries and prepare proposals and costs to meet
the client’s needs. - Make service recommendations based on the client’s culture and requirements.
Upsell Glo’s other wellness services where appropriate. - Select and assign suitable trainers or therapists to bookings while developing
relationships with therapists/trainers and onboarding new therapists / assisting them where necessary. - Oversee corporate bookings throughout the booking process including preparing
schedules, booking confirmations, Check ins. - Manage online booking system for corporate appointments as needed.
- Recruit new therapists / trainers as required for Glo’s wellness offering.
- Nurture existing clients and upsell /expand Glo’s service offering where possible.
- Familiarize yourself with Glo’s competition and consider service innovation for Glo.
- Prepare event proposals for different event themes and organize events.
- Stay up to date and well informed on key trends for Wellbeing at Work and the wellness industry in general terms.
- Send weekly list of corporate invoices to Glo’s bookkeeper.
- Prepare and contribute to Glo’s social channels and blogs.
- Saturday’s – load new bookings and respond to enquiries for Spa to you, Forest Holiday and Pamper party bookings. Firefight any therapist cancellations.
- Support director with business development in the corporate and events sector.
Essential Experience:
- Solid administrative experience.
- Solid understanding of complementary health, wellbeing, wellness and health industry and emerging wellness trends/services.
- Solid knowledge of how corporate cultures and how they differ in a variety of sectors.
- Sales experience.
- Understanding of how Glo’s services are experienced on a mobile basis.
- People management skills (in terms of getting the best from Glo’s therapists).
- Ability to communicate at different levels and with different client groups (e.g. individuals for Spa services through to corporate level for wellbeing plans).
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

Hours of Work – two work week formats which are worked in rotation:
Week 1: 9am – 3pm Tuesday – Saturday
Week 2: 9am – 3pm Mon - Friday
Pay range (subject to experience): £13.50 - £15 per hour / 30 hours per week / Saturday’s
worked = hourly rate x 1.5.
Benefits: Paid Holidays based on statutory requirement (holiday allowance includes bank
holidays). Company laptop and company mobile phone will be supplied for the duration of
the contract.
Other requirements: Access to a printer, at home fast internet / broadband coverage.
