Subject: Christmas Quiz & Buffet Evening
Guest Speaker/Info: We will begin our evening with a quiz for teams of 2 or 3 (we can organise teams on the evening). Prizes for the winning team. Opportunity to gain 2 CPD points and challenge your knowledge! We will then have a buffet and exchange our secret santas! Raffle tickets £2 each, please bring a secret santa for around £1 wrapped up and an item for the buffet. There will be no charge for this fun evening. We will also unveil our exciting plan for 2025! Members Free, Students Free and Non-members Free. Buffet & drinks will be available - let Bev know what you would like to contribute. 7PM TO 9PM AT CTTC Guest Speaker Maja will be joining us to share her knowledge of using the Peter Hess method of Singing Bowls. A non-invasive therapy using sound and vibration to relax the body, mind and soul. This relaxing therapy may help the body to self-heal and allow letting go of any stress and tension that may be held within the body. A demonstration of the use of singing bowls will be given along with the opportunity to practice and experience the singing bowls. 2 CPD points.

7PM TO 9PM AT CTTC Welcoming Leon Chiu of Complementary Health Care to share his vast knowledge of Acupressure, an ancient healing art with a history of over 2000 years. Therapeutic effects are based on the understanding of how the body interlinks to the universe & nature. Through creating an abstract language of Yin, Yang and Qi to formulate patterns of similarity between nature and the human being, the healer can use these theories to heal the body by unblocking, tonifying & sedating bodily reactions to deficiency, stagnation or excess. Meridians represent myofascial and neuro-connection in the body & through pressing specific points in these meridian lines it can switch on/off bodily functions. 2 CPD points.

7PM TO 9PM AT CTTC Jane Long of www.janelongwellbeing.com on Facial Reflexology and Facial Mapping, discovering reflex points connected to organs, acupressure points to ease ailments and nuances around the areas of the face. An interactive session in which you will identify some of the reflex points to the face, hands and feet for yourselves to support you as a therapist. 2 CPD points.

Energy Healing using Radiesthesia with Derek Burton of Luxor Wellbeing will be sharing with us a wide ranging look at how metal pendulum healing is thought to work and how it can be used to help with both physical and psychological dysfunction. Derek will cover energy field balancing, emotional healing, Karmic bonds, physical healing & enrichment. The unified cycle of life energy scale and how some pendulums can be used to address disease, and infections will be touched on, along with elements illustrated with actual case studies and a demonstration of the technique.

By harnessing the transformative power of sound using precision-tuned tuning forks set to healing Solfeggio frequencies to restore, balance and bring vitality to your body, mind and spirit. Esme will guide us through their use and wonderful benefits with a guided demonstration to experience this. 2 CPD points.

7PM TO 9PM AT CTTC Sarah Hill will be our Guest Speaker to share with us Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, a light touch therapy which aims through listening touch to encourage the client’s own rebalancing and healing systems. Sarah will present this wonderful therapy with a guided demonstration. 2 CPD points.

7PM TO 9PM VENUE TBC Jane Bright Wellbeing (also known as Phoenix Pilates and Reiki) will be sharing with us the beautiful flowing movements and benefits of Pilates. Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on balance, posture, strength and flexibility. It is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels and will further benefit us as therapists. You do not need to have done any Pilates before to do this session which Jane is going to perform a guided demonstration in which you may join in should you wish. An exercise mat would be useful if you have one. Wear comfortable and loose clothing. 2 CPD points. Price and Venue to be confirmed.

7PM TO 9PM AT CTTC An evening with Beverley Collison, CTTC to share with us the wonderfully relaxing & balancing Thermal Auricular Therapy. Ear Candles are used by setting them alight and creating a gentle suction action like a chimney effect, together with the movement of the flame creates a vibration of air in the Ear Candle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum. A presentation with guided demonstration of the therapy will be given with the opportunity for some members to experience the treatment at an additional cost of £5 for the candles. 2 CPD points. Please let Bev know if you would like a treatment on the evening.
