The Tees Valley Support Group is a hub where local therapists can meet and discuss issues that affect their industry. This group is for practitioners current or retired, students and interested members of the public. You don't need to be a member of FHT, just have a passion for Health & Wellbeing. We are a welcoming, supportive group who meet several times through the year to discuss topics, listen to presentations and have just have a chat and socialize with other therapists. The Benefits of Carrier Oils, with Ann Whiteford
This month's meeting will be aromatherapy Tutor, Ann Whiteford giving us a talk on the properties and benefits of carrier oils. The importance of these humble oils are often overlooked, we think of them in terms of what slip they provide in massage treatments or purely as a way of diluting essential oils, but these hard working oils can provide therapeutic qualities of their own. In this session we will learn more about what we are putting on our clients skin and the importance of using good quality, well sourced products.
Free parking and tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
