TopicExploring Music in our Treatment Spaces.

Join me for our first meeting of the year as we look at new ways to spark energy and passion into our business.

January's meeting is focused on exploring music. Regardless of the treatments we offer, and the location we work in, music can have a powerful impact on how we work and our clients' experience.

We will explore therapeutic benefits, pros, cons, and professional and practical issues. This will also be an opportunity to share and exchange ideas and experiences.

Join me at 7pm for refreshments to welcome 2025. The interactive talk will begin at 7:30.

You don't have to be a FHT member, or even a therapist, if you have a friend interested, bring them along and you both will get your first meeting half price.

The fee is £5 for FHT members and £8 for non-members
Payment is required in advance.

TopicThe Interactive Teaching Method of The Alexander Technique - Exploring the mechanical acts of daily life - Sandra Regan

Sandra is part of a collective of Alexander Technique teachers in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, and Dorset – Wessex Alexander Technique and has a long-standing interest in health and wellness. She has previously trained in reflexology and has worked with health researchers to involve people affected by certain conditions in research, and with a charity to consider addressing health inequalities for people affected by stroke.

She says “For me, Mr. Alexander’s work is the most responsible thing anyone can engage with for their wellness. I love the Interactive Teaching Method because the focus is always on the student, working with what’s important to them”

This event includes:
Introduction to FM Alexander, and the Interactive Teaching Method.
Key ideas.
The opportunity for your own practical experience.
Join us at 7pm for refreshments. The interactive Speaker Event will begin at 7:30.

Sandra lives in Didcot, Oxfordshire, and is a professionally trained oral storyteller and can often be found telling Stories for Grown-ups at Didcot Library.
