Introduction
I qualified as an Accredited Practitioner of The Bowen Technique, with the UK's leading Bowen Technique training school - the 'College of Bowen Studies' in 2023. I now see clients in my treatment room, relating to women's health. Bowen is an holistic physical therapy applied to specific areas of the body, using gentle rolling-type moves with thumbs and fingers. Bowen affects nerve pathways, the lymphatic system and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which in turn generally results in deep relaxation and positive responses.
"When you do the first few moves of a Bowen session, the body know that the emergency is over." TOM BOWEN
