Introduction
My career background is one of special needs education and support work within the care field. It was during this time that I was first introduced to complementary therapies and some of the benefits they can bring. In 2003-5 I trained in Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candling. In 2006 I started my own business, opening my own clinic in Teynham, becoming a full time Complementary Practitioner within a few years. In 2008 I qualified as a Reiki Practitioner. During my time working within this profession I have particularly enjoyed my work with a varied range of clients such as children with complex needs, end of life care and adults with complex health issues including dementia. At present I work as a mobile therapist.
